Even though children are allowed to travel alone on the plane, there are some rules and regulations given in the Emirates Unaccompanied Minor Policy which are must to follow by the parents/guardians and the children. According to these rules, minors below the age of 14 need to get a ticket under the emirates unaccompanied minor program by which they will be given special advantages like pre-boarding, travelling assistance, snacks, etc. by the airlines. An additional fee is applied to such tickets, and it is optional for children above the age of 14.
